Playfulness is at the heart of Bea’s illustration process. Each piece begins as a sketchbook idea, which she then brings to life using a curated collection of analogue collage materials. This intuitive, hands-on stage allows for unique textures and happy accidents.
Once the analogue collage is complete, the artwork is scanned into Photoshop. This digital phase offers the flexibility to refine the piece and create variations, ensuring the final illustration is perfectly tailored to the client’s vision. It is the perfect blend of expressive artistry and client-friendly adaptability.
